The central theme of digital projects is always learning, which requires bringing together knowledge, views and ideas. Digital projects must dare to aim for big wins and even to do what no one has done before.

Kipinä's second Business Levi trip for digital entrepreneurs has become a tradition, bringing together experts and enthusiasts to learn from and be inspired by each other. "We've always believed that people play the most critical role in digitalisation, and that's why we're gathering the talented people together at Kipinä. Kipinä serves its clients in the most challenging digital development projects, where Kipinä experts operate in a Senior tech leadership model, bringing their hard experience and insights to our clients. Talking to experienced digital leaders increases our understanding of our customers' challenges and needs, and how we can best address them," says Olli Laine.

Sharing knowledge and learning together

Bringing together experienced digital leaders is a way for Kipinä to learn, get feedback, test its own ideas and hear about the challenges faced in different industries. No digital project can move forward without people and without people with skills, experience and the courage to create something new.

At Kipinä, we believe that a person who is holistically well is also at their best and most efficient in the workplace. Well-being is built on the balance of various aspects of life as a whole. A person’s life is a unified entity. A person who is well is undoubtedly at their best when it comes to learning new things, getting inspired, and inspiring others. That’s why, in addition to traditional roundtable discussions, conversations at Kipinä’s Business Levi event also take place on the trails and slopes.

"At work, it is increasingly important to think about where and how you are at your best. Sometimes you can meet the best experts on a ski slope," says Olli. So the bike-meeting concept can also be transferred to the ski slopes, if both are enthusiastic about skiing.

The key is to bring people together and create an open atmosphere for discussion. An open and confidential atmosphere gives people the space to come to the table as they are, behind the titles, and express their views. Of course, equally important is wellbeing, which in the case of Kipinä's trip means more outdoor activities and exercise, less nightlife. This was praised by visitors: "A great, different concept that you're happy to be part of."

Everyone who took part in the trip felt that they gained at least a few new insights into their own work and digital business. Sharing experiences, concerns and successes in the digital business in different industries and companies in discussions was rewarding.

Skiing unites!

Participants praised the sporty program and the tough challengers!

Participants' thoughts on the Kipinän Business Levi event:

"It's a privilege to get to know smart people."

"Discussions with experienced colleagues brought new ideas, refined old ones and provided useful benchmarks. Themes that came to mind included how AI can revolutionise user interfaces or even eliminate the need for them altogether."

"It was really inspiring to get to know some amazing people from different industries, and to hear about the tasks and roles they have had in their careers. It's rare to be able to exchange ideas in such an informal setting."

Based on these comments and the participants' feelings, it’s safe to say that the tradition of Kipinä’s Spring Business Levi event won’t be ending anytime soon. The discussions held around the "round table," on the trails, the slopes, and over dinners were so valuable. We are happy to continue bringing together digital experts and people from various industries in this way.
