The starting point of the collaboration was to take Planet AI's development to the next level, building upon the foundational work done by Silo AI. The goal was to operationalize the Planet AI service—which generates corporate sustainability analyses—infuse the software development with Kipinä's top-tier expertise, and build a robust data and AI architecture to support scalable growth. Utilizing artificial intelligence, the Planet AI platform is capable of performing highly precise, deep, and comprehensive analyses of these domains, which was not previously possible.
Kipinä contributed comprehensively to the development of Planet AI, ranging from roadmap-aligned execution to building the user interface, backend, and data architecture, as well as developing AI through customized language models and generative AI solutions. Additionally, Kipinä was responsible for product ownership and development leadership, ensuring that the progress of Planet AI aligned with the company's business objectives.
Planet AI leverages generative AI on an exceptionally large scale. This goes beyond merely utilizing off-the-shelf tools like ChatGPT—Planet AI develops its own highly targeted language model that deeply and scalably analyzes corporate sustainability actions.
