Kipinä Software Emissions Accounting 2025

Kipinä has offset its carbon emissions by creating new biological carbon sinks in cooperation with Carboreal Oy.

The biological carbon sinks were established by planting new forest on fields retired from agricultural use in Finland. The climate action was implemented on a property designated by the real estate ID 698-412-17-3.

In 2025, our company's carbon dioxide emissions were 55,430 CO2e. The carbon footprint calculation follows the Greenhouse Gas Protocol standard and covers Scopes 1, 2, and 3.
