Getting to know the ecosystem at the Ecosystem afterwork

At Kipinä, we believe that community is really important and we see it as one of the keys to people's well-being and success. That's why it was great to get the whole ecosystem on board for a joint after-party and create a sense of community on a wider scale. The first ever "Ecosystem afterworks" was a successful event and will surely continue.
A Friday in October brought together the people of Kipinä and the other companies in the ecosystem, Luodo, Asteroid, NorthCode and Vuolu, to enjoy time together and get to know each other. The evening started with a social discussion about world events. We face the world together as an ecosystem, which is why it is important to talk about things as a community.
Clearly, there was a demand for such an event. Even though people discussed work quite a bit, the atmosphere remained relaxed. Enthusiasm for one's work and workplace shone through in everyone's faces and conversation. This bodes well for the future and upcoming joint projects.

It is also important that we know each other and have fun together. Community strengthens us and facilitates daily interactions. Everyone across every company in the ecosystem needs more than just intense coding and client work. We want the entire ecosystem to grow stronger, not just individual companies.
Luoto described the significance of community on LinkedIn as follows: ”In the past, the ideal of work was the efficient division of processes and the measurement of the individual. In service, knowledge, and expert work, what is valuable is mutual interaction, creativity, and shared learning. The evolution of a service company is defined by customer experience, transparency, ownership, and a sense of community among those who share common interests.”
It is easy to agree with this and start planning the next initiative to promote shared learning and interaction.
