Kipinä Software Emissions Calculation 2024

Kipinä has reversed its carbon dioxide emissions by creating new biological carbon sinks together with Carboreal Oy.

Biological carbon sinks have been implemented by planting new forest on fields that have been abandoned in Finland. The climate action has been implemented on a site with property code 851-413-22-8.

In 2024, our carbon dioxide emissions were 44 370 Co2 eq. The calculation of the carbon footprint is based on the Greenhouse Gas Protocol and covers scopes 1, 2 and 3.
